Mental Wellbeing Group at The Fed
Our Mental Wellbeing Group is a closed group. Those who attend must have a formal mental health diagnosis or a mental health need. The group held every Thursday from 3.30pm – 6.30pm and is £3 per session.
Before your first visit, you will need to be assessed by a worker from our Community Advice and Support team. This is so that we have a good understanding of your specific mental health support networks, triggers and warnings signs.
People enjoy a hot meal together in the Purple Room at Heathlands Village, where we also offer karaoke, bingo, film evenings, quizzes, art, special themed events, exercise and mindfulness, sports nights and guest speakers.
If you prefer not to join in the activities, you can sit it out or have a quiet chat or play a game with other members.
Staff are also on hand to provide a confidential, listening ear.
Please book in advance via advice@thefed.org.uk or call 0161 772 4800
