The Drop-In at The Fed
The Drop-In offers a safe, welcoming space for people who may be struggling with mental or emotional difficulties, sometimes due to anxiety, depression, life crises sch as bereavement or divorce, or conditions such as OCD. Some Drop-In members join us because of a sense of isolation or loneliness.
You will be guaranteed a very friendly welcome from the staff, volunteers and existing members at Drop-In. The group meets in The Purple Room at Eventhall House in Heathlands Village on Tuesday and Thursday evenings - and once a month on a Sunday afternoon.
You can enjoy a warm meal with other members and then join in that evening’s activity. We hold karaoke, bingo, film, drumming, quiz and sports nights, amongst other things. If you prefer you can just sit and have a quiet chat or play games with other members.
Throughout the year The Drop-In holds a number of parties, theatre trips, meals out and other special events.
If you’d like to come to the Drop-In, please get in touch with us first. Once you have become a member you can simply turn up whenever you like; there is no need to book.
