Developing Young People Through Comedy

Big Comedy Shop specialise in working with young people delivering issue based learning using drama and comedy creative workshops.

We can create bespoke workshops using comedy to entertain, engage and educate young people exploring issues that affect them. 

Founder Ali Kahn is also a professional comedy actor and CBBC star in comedy Still So Awkward seen on the telly from August 2021 and on BBC i player. Ali is also a live comedy performer and is available to develop funny motivational talks on mental health, resilience and raising aspirations for high school students.

Big Comedy Shop also runs regular After School Comedy Improvisation Clubs in primary schools in South Manchester where students create and perform their own comedy sketches.

We run regular school holiday Comedy Club Days in South Manchester during half terms, Easter and summer holidays. 

Big Comedy Shop offer fun, high energy and highly entertaining workshops using professional facilitators, actors and comedy performers we will encourage young people to learn whilst having a right good laugh!!
