International Student Support

Manchester is a truly multicultural university, home to around 7,400 international students from 180 countries.

To meet the specific needs of our international students the University has a dedicated team providing a wide range of services.

Support and guidance begins in your home country with services including pre-departure briefings and an arrival guide.

On your arrival our airport collection service provides a warm welcome and our orientation courses help you quickly settle into life in a new country.

Ongoing support is provided throughout your time at Manchester whether you're seeking advice about immigration, looking to further develop your academic English, or you want spend some free time exploring the UK.

Our International Advice Team, located in the Student Services Centre, offers help and advice to all international students studying at The University of Manchester on issues such as:
