Martenscroft Children's Centre
Sure Start is the government programme to deliver the best start in life for every child.
Sure Start Children’s Centres are places where children under 5 years old and their families can access a wide range of support services and information including early years education, childcare, health and family support.
Sure Start Children’s Centres offer a number of sessions, which provide young children with opportunities to develop and learn by good quality experiences. These may include:
Baby Stay and Play, Baby Sensory Bag, Tiny Tots and Toddler Time and Stay, Play and Learn. Parents or carers must stay with their child and there may be a small charge for snacks and drinks. Most of the groups run during term time only. Access the ‘What’s on Guide’ to find out which sessions are offered at this centre and if you need to pre-book a place. For drop in sessions, we would suggest that you contact the centre before you go along to check that the session is running.
Martenscroft children’s centre is integrated and located inside Martenscroft Nursery School.
