The Young Disabled People's Forum
The Young Disabled People's Forum is a project open to all young disabled people aged between 13-25 years and living in Manchester.
The project offers a regular "forum" of young disabled people to discuss what matters to you, swap ideas, information and support. It offers one to one support and advocacy on a range of issues including education, employment and training. You can also get information on a wide range of issues that will support your independence.
It also gives you the chance to meet up with decision makers, have your say about services and make positive change. There may be volunteering and work placement opportunities in a supportive environment. You can also get involved in campaigns, events and training. Transport and personal support can be provided if needed.
If you want to get involved in the project, just contact Colin, Maureen or Bernie.
