  • We are a Registered Charity 521239 and offer the Community of North Manchester opportunities to meet and make friends with local Families and other partners.
  • We run 2 nights a week (Mondays & Fridays) 6pm to 8pm for children from 7 years to 11 years. Local volunteers who are All DBS checked and encourage Young People to take on a volunteering Role, run the sessions that include , Multi Sports for both boys and girls, Music studio, sensory room, table tennis, pool, allotment and we are very proud of our childrens play area and funded by the Big Lottery we have a Multi Use games Area.
  • We are the head quarters for the North City Nomads who are a voluntary group that organises trips out to the seaside resorts and other places of interest mainly for our Age Friendly people from around North Manchester. Presently. We are back open and out first trip is to Chester on the 5th July 2022
  • We work in partnership with local Businesses via B.I.T.C. and companies such as the Co op . M & S, Spie UK , Northward Housing, NHS, MCC (VCS) and Santdanter Bank all have or are the process of assisting us in volunteering Days and investing with us financially.
  • We are affiliated to the Boys and Girls clubs of Greater Manchester and the G.M.Y.N.

Notes

We are mainly a voluntary Youth & Community Centre and self supporting.

We run a Monday & Friday evening ( 6pm to 8pm) for children from 7 years to 11 years on a voluntary basis and All our volunteers are all DBS checked. 

 Senior Citizens a Lunch at a cost of £4 per head every other Friday , We are working in partnerhip with other groups to obtain funding from the Well Being to be able to offer this service on a weekly basis. the OPENS Project maybe able to assist. 

We are the headquarters for the North City Nomads offering our over 50's the opportunities to visit seaside resorts 4 times a year. £5 registration to join the group. 

Presently for 2022 we have 280 on our Data Base. 

We are fortunately to have the Co op who have designed a 3 year Business Plan and support us in other ways and are also supported by B.I.T.C. in volunteering Days at the centre. 

We are also registered with Macc
