Gaskell Street Park

Gaskell Street Park is a small, well-used park sited to the south of the Rochdale Canal within the Miles Platting and Newton Heath Ward. The park is surrounded on all sides by residential housing.

Gaskell Street Park has been awarded a Green Flag Award since 2006 for achieving the national standard for parks and green spaces. This lovely community park is mainly used for children's play, gardening, dog walking and for hosting community events such as Park It!.

The Friends of Gaskell Street Park and Queensferry Residents Association work with Manchester Leisure to improve and promote the site.
