CLIC Sargent (Cancer and Leukaemia in Childhood)
For children and young people (aged 16 to 24) who come to Christie Hospital with a Cancer Diagnosis.
This service comprises two full-time Social Workers who provide practical, emotional and financial support, before and after recovery, and for as long as people need it. The service is provided jointly by CLIC Sargent, the national charity caring for Children and Young People and their families in hospital and the community, and Manchester City Council's Child Health and Disability (CHAD) service.
Referrals to this service are made on admission to Christie Hospital.
Helpline is open Monday to Friday 9.00am - 5.00pm
Administrator available 9.30am - 3.00pm - Monday - Thursday
