BILD - British Institute for Learning Disabilities
The British Institute of Learning Disabilities (BILD) is working to improve the lives of people in the UK with a learning disability.
BILD work with the government and other organisations to improve the lives of people with learning disabilities. BILD also do research, such as how to include people with learning disabilities in making decisions.
Our vision is a society where people with a learning disability are equal citizens and have access to the support they need. We work to achieve this in partnership with people with a learning disability and family carers through policy development, running conferences and consultancy, in house training, publications and support for qualifications.
