Tj's Interact day care for disabled adults and senior citizens
Tj's Interact is a group for adults with disabilities and senior citizens.
We are open Monday to Friday 10am until 2pm. We also hold a karaoke disco on a Tuesday evening 6pm until 9pm and Thursday evening 6pm until 9pm.
All new members can enjoy one week at Tjs Interact absoluetly free of charge. Tjs Interact brings people together to enjoy daily activities but more impotantly to enjoy day trips out they may not get the chance to enjoy otherwise. We have live tribute bands on a regular basis. We hold an annual weekend away to Blackpool with our members where we spend the weekend togethere enjoying the Blackpool circus, the dungeons, night life, sealife centre, wax works and more. When we get some nice weather we will get the bbq out at the centre in our huge garden where we do our sports activities. We know there are many day centres out there that you can enjoy but we do encourage you to try different ones so you can experience different activities and meet new friends.
All Tjs Interact staff are fuly trained, all staff are NVQ trained between level 2 and 5. There are always 2 First Aid trained staff on site. Free transport is provided to and fron the group to ensure the safety of our members.

The centre is fully equipped for wheelchair access. Toilets are suitable for wheelchair users, ramps all around the bulding. Minibuses have wheelchair access. All new members welcomed with or without carers/parents. All carers/parents can enjoy free entrance, breakfast and lunch at TJs Interact. No need to contact before you attend feel free to call in anytime to have a look around. No joining fees or contracts. We offer monthly payments for those who prefer. Payments are also accepted through council and accountants where applicable.
