SelfHelp Peer Support Drop-In Groups
SelfHelp delivers a number of face to face and online drop-in groups across Manchester and Trafford.
The groups provide a safe, confidential and non-judgemental environment where individuals can meet others similarly affected, discuss their anxiety issues and experiences, share advice and coping strategies and access immediate, regular support. Sessions are delivered by experienced Self-Help Services Group Facilitators, all of whom have lived experience of a common mental health issue. As a user-led organisation we believe that people with lived experience are ideally placed to deliver these services, ensuring that service users have a voice in the support they receive.
There is no charge for attending the groups.
The groups operate on a drop-in basis which means no referral is required and individuals can access any of the groups regardless of where their GP is located.
