British Association For Counselling (BACP)
BACP is the main body in the UK representing counselling at national and international levels. Members are individuals or organisations concerned with counselling in a variety of settings. The association aims to promote counselling and psychotherapy, and to raise standards of training and practice. The information office produces directories listing counselling services and training organisations. Enquirers can be sent an area list of counsellors on receipt of a SAE.
