NAT is the UK's policy and campaigning charity dedicated to transforming society's response to HIV. It provides fresh thinking, expertise and practical resources. It champions the rights of people living with HIV and campaigns for change. The trust has five strategic goals:

  • Effective HIV prevention in order to halt the spread of HIV
  • Early diagnosis of HIV through ethical, accessible and appropriate testing
  • Equitable access to treatment, care and support for people living with HIV
  • Enhanced understanding of the facts about HIV and living with HIV in the UK
  • Eradication of HIV-related stigma and discrimination

There is information on the many areas of policy and practice that the organisation researches and develops with regard to HIV. There are also publications to download to assist employers, health and social care professionals, helpline managers and workers, specialist workers in schools and prisons, and much more.
