Manchester Registrars Office
By law, you must register a birth within 6 weeks, in the district where it occured and you will need to pre-book an appointment to do this by visiting our website.
Most registrations take place at Heron House (near to the Town Hall in Manchester) but it may also be possible to do this at your local Sure Start Centre, details available on-line.
A Birth Certificate will not available until the registration takes place but you can pay for any copies you require at the same time as you book your appointment.
