Being There
Being There is a small, local charity providing emotional support to people with cancer,strokes, heart disease and COPD and other life-limiting illnesses. We also support families and carers. We provide services in Manchester, Trafford, Salford and Tameside.
We can offer emotional support, befriending, counselling, respite sitting for carers, online social & support groups and hospital transport.
Our services are delivered by specially trained volunteers who are managed by a team of professional staff.
