Living With Sight Loss
Our Living with Sight Loss course is free to attend and aims to give you information and advice about living with your sight loss.
As well as finding out more about your eye condition and talking to other people experiencing the same issues as you, we will discuss the procedures at the eye hospital and the benefits of registration.
You will learn techniques to make the most of your vision and hear about the latest gadgets, specialist equipment and assistive technology that could make your life a little easier.
We regularly have guest speakers who may include Guide Dogs, Rehabilitation teams, Welfare Rights teams, the police, the fire service and staff from the Eye Hospital. Plus we will demonstrate specialist aids and equipment. This is a six week course, that takes place throughout the year.
