St Ann's Hospice (Little Hulton)
St Ann’s Hospice aims to improve the quality of life of people living with any life-limiting illnesses in Greater Manchester, whilst supporting their families and carers. Patients are involved with their personal plan of care, which is tailored to meet their needs. Care is available from the point of diagnosis, enabling and encouraging people to achieve the best possible quality of life while providing support to their families and carers.
Inpatient Services
St Ann's Hospice has two inpatient units with a total of 45 beds. Patients may be admitted to the inpatient units for a variety of reasons including symptom control, care following treatments such as chemotherapy or radiotherapy, specialist respite care or care at the end of life. Inpatients are able to access a range of services provided by members of the multi-disciplinary team. Carers are also able to access support from staff with specialist training.
The Being You Centre
In person and online support if you’re living with a life-limiting illness in Greater Manchester. We have a range of specialist services that we can recommend, depending on your needs and goals, which include a range of programmes, supportive outpatients and medical outpatients support and specialist palliative care for patients and carers. The aim is to assist and support patients in the management of their care and to help maintain them at home.

Community Services
Community Support includes a Hospice at Home Team for Trafford and Salford, that work to support people in their own homes, providing specialist palliative care in the patient's place of residence. There is also a Community Specialist Palliative Care Team based at Little Hulton who work within Salford PCT.
We can also provide bereavement support either at the hospice, over the phone or in your home. This service is free, confidential and provided by professional hospice staff and trained, supervised volunteers.
