Young Carer Friendly Youth Centre. Manchester Youth Zone
Here at Manchester Youth Zone we welcome young carers to access our Youth Centre. You will be greeted by friendly staff who will understand what challenges young carers face.
We have a helpful notice board specifically for young carers and a member of our team is a champion for young carers.
Sessions include:
- Arts and crafts
- Sports
- Gym
- Dance
- Community cafe
- Rock climbing
- Cooking
- Music
- Pool and table tennis
- Football on a 3g pitch
- Basketball
- Boys’ and girls’ groups
- Targeted sessions around issue-based work
We will be running awareness sessions for young carers and will link up with other services in the local area.
Manchester Youth Zone provides a unique, safe place for young people aged eight to nineteen and up to twenty-five with additional needs, from across Manchester.
