Welcome

We have been ‘Proclaiming Christ and Serving the Community” at the current multi-purpose building since 1982 but a Methodist Church has been at this site from 1867. Whalley Range Methodist Church is part of the Manchester Circuit. Our congregation mainly comprises of local people from Whalley Range, Moss Side and Old Trafford and is one of the largest churches on the circuit. We look forward to welcoming you!

The Church exists to increase awareness of God’s presence and to celebrate God’s love.

The Church exists to help people to learn and grow as Christians through mutual support and care.

The Church exists to be good neighbours to people in need and to challenge injustice.

The Church exists to make more followers of Jesus Christ.

Sunday Worship
Services at 11.00 am, do join us.

Tuesday
Bible Class
Meet at 2.30pm in Room 3. The Group extends a warm welcome to anyone who would care to join them. Alternate Tuesdays.

Friendship Group
Meet at 2.30pm in Room 3. The group meets regularly and has guest speakers throughout the year. Alternate Tuesdays.

Wednesday
Coffee and Choir time
Every Wednesday at Whalley Range Methodist Church from 10.30am – 12.30pm. Enjoy a warm welcome and Fairtrade Tea & Coffee. Drop by and bring friends or family to enjoy this weekly event. If you would like to join the choir come and try us out!

Thursday
Keep Fit Group
Meets every Thursday from 10.45am – 11.45am. A qualified tutor guides members through a moderate exercise session at their own pace and the activities provide fun as well as healthy exercise. Gentle exercise in a relaxed atmosphere.

Prayer Goup
Our Prayer Group meets every Thursday at 12.30 pm. A time of peace and reflection as we share concerns for people in need, our church, our community and our world. We meet for about 20 minutes and all are welcome.
