The E Card - The Emergency Information Card

The E Card is an initiative led by Greater Manchester Greater Police to help vulnerable people stay safe when they are in the community.

The E Card is compact enough it can fit in a wallet and contains the person’s name and emergency contact information. The back of the card contains medical information or details of any disabilities they may have. It also contains details of any additional support that may be required, such as British Sign Language, or other interpretation services.

If you would like a card, or want further information, contact Greater Manchester Police on 0161 856 2206 or email diversity@gmp.police.uk

You should only call 999 in an emergency (for example, if a crime is being committed or if a life is at risk. For non-emergency calls contact 0161 872 5050.
