Manchester Graphic Club
The club was founded in 1876 as one of the societies meeting in the Athenaeum. Most of the others are now defunct or have new names but the Dramatic Club and the Graphic Club continue. Apart from brief periods of war, demolition or electricity-cuts, we never closed. The Committee no longer vets new members' portfolios of work before admitting them and we now offer membership to women, art-students and beginners. Membership allows you to show work in the annual exhibition.
Our 146th season opens at The Fletcher Moss Parsonage, M20 2RQ, 10.00 am to 12.00 midday on Thursday 8th September (Sorry the evening venue is no longer available.) Annual subscription £25, members £7 per session. Subsequent meetings will take place on the following dates: 14th Septmeber 2022, 12th October 2022, 23rd November 2022, 15th December 2022. We shall be able to book further sessions from January 2023.
We have chairs, tables, easels and boards but please bring your own paper, etc.
