Booth Centre
The Booth Centre is here to bring about positive change to the lives of people who are affected by homelessness. We help them plan for and realise a better future. We work within a co-production approach, which means people attending the Centre are part of design, planning, implementation and review of all aspects of the service.
We provide activities, focussing on rebuilding confidence and learning new skills, in a supported environment, where social connections are made.
We run art sessions, a volunteering programme, employment and skills sessions, women's groups, ESOL classes, amongst others.
We provide a healthy breakfast and lunch. Each activity has a support worker in attendance, so that any support issues people may have, can be discussed and addressed, where possible, particularly around matters such as housing referrals / issues, mental health issues, drug / alcohol dependency issues.
