Booth Centre
The Booth Centre is here to bring about positive change in the lives of people who are affected by homelessness to help them plan for and realise a better future. We work within a co-production approach, which means people attending the Centre are part of design, planning, implementation and review of all aspects of the service.
We provide activities, focussing on rebuildng confidence and learning new skills, in a supported environment, where social connections are made. We run arts sessions, a volunteering programme, employment and skills sessions, women's groups, ESOL classes, amongst others. We provide a healthy breakfast and lunch, to our 3-of-your-5-a-day menu. Each activity has a support worker in attendence, so that any support issues people may have, can be discussed and addressed, where possible, particularly around matters such as housing referrals/issues, mental health issues, drug / alcohol dependency issues.
