Young Carer Support at Newall Green High School
We are a young carer friendly school.
We have a young carers group every Thursday Lunch time with access to the school nurse and patoral team 1.15pm
We will offer Early Help Assesments and use the MACA and PANOC
We will link our young carers to activities and services they want to be involved in
We will hold whole school assembly raising awareness of young carers
We will invite professionals into school to support our young carers on issues and topics important to them.
We will work with our feeder schools to ensure a good package of support for our young carers.
We will work together with our partners in schools and social care services, our parents, carers and children.
