A Better Life (ABL Support)
Well, first and foremost, we are a day centre focussing on people with learning disabilities, but in reality, we're much more than that.
We're called Abl (A Better Life) because that is our prime aim. Our team's commitment to add value to people’s lives and experiences has taught us that people with additional needs are no different from anybody else. They are still unique individuals with a huge amount to offer and all they need is the opportunity to learn new skills and build their confidence.
In our view it's all about providing a totally informal environment where there is always recognition of achievement and where people never feel isolated and are always encouraged to develop new friends.
As a day centre, we serve a wide geographical area, including Manchester, Trafford and Cheshire and offer a pickup and drop off service as part of our daily rate.
