Lesbian and Gay Youth in Manchester
Lesbian and Gay Youth Manchester (LGYM) is a Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Trans (LGBT) project based in the city centre for young LGBTs. We provide a space for LGBT young people to feel safe and at ease in. We also provide a variety of activities for young LGBTs. These include outdoor activities such as rock climbing, canoeing, cycling and walking. We also do arts and craft based work, for example, banner making for Europride, environmental art and painting. Services include:
- twice weekly youth club
- library for young LGBT people
- young men's group once a month
- young lesbian and bisexual women's health and social group "LIK:T"
- online services including message board
- outreach in the Gay Village "Out and About"
