Daisy Chain Childminding

About Me
My name is Tracy and childminding is my passion. I've only ever worked in childcare and I love it. My husband Mark and I work together to provide the best possible care for the children who share our home . We have, and have only ever had, extremely happy families that we provided a service for and are often told that we go above and beyond. References from existing parents are available on request.
We have a dedicated playroom ,an outdoor summerhouse, used as an additional playroom and a large, well equipped, secure, fun, garden. Our home is situated in a very friendly avenue away from passing traffic.
Living in our home with us we have our gorgeous son who is ten years old, and our lovely boxer dogs. We have 4 chickens who live at the end of our garden in a fenced off area.
As a childminder it is my aim to give children individual attention and care so they feel safe to grow independence, confidence and skills. Our days are packed with fun activities that include, messy play, singing, playing in our mud kitchen, creating, investigating, digging in the garden, tending to our chickens, visit to parks and canals to feed the ducks and so much more.
As a childminder I follow the EYFS and ensure the children's seven areas of learning are met by following the child's interests, planning for them and delivering the teaching through play and focused activities. Each child under five has an online learning journey that parents have access to, this is where we share the child's achievement and track their progress.
I have experience in caring for children with SEND.
My Experience
I have over 20 years childcare experience, this includes key worker in a nursery, teaching assistant, learning support assistant, and a manager of an out of school club.
I have been childminding for over 8 years and couldn't ask for a better job. I've worked along side my husband for over 7 years.
We have experience of working with SEND children.
