Young Carers Support at Oasis Academy Aspinal

This is for children attending our school.

We are a young carer friendly school

We promote information about and for young carers in each classroom

We look at whole school assembly and letters home to parents to raise awareness of young carers

We will work with our early help hubs to ensure support for young carers and their families

We will look at inviting partners into school to support and work with our young carers

We will be working toward the Bronze Young Carer in School Award

Young carers can access our breakfast club

Young carers can access all in school groups and clubs

Young carers can have access to the school support staff

Young carers can access our worry monster

All young carers have an IPad and can access support

We will offer EHA and use the MACA and PANOC and to complete a support plan
