Young Carer Support - St Peter's RC High School
We are a young carer friendly school.
We will offer Early Help Assesments and use the MACA and PANOC
We will link our young carers to activities and services they want to be involved in, some of these include: Student Council, Diversity Council, Eco-school Council and much more.
We will hold whole school assembly raising awareness of young carers
We will invite professionals into school to support our young carers on issues and topics important to them.
We will work with local primary schools to ensure a good package of support for our young carers.
We will look at working toward the Young Carers In School Award
We will work together with our partners in schools and early help, our parents, carers and children.
