Wheelchair Accessible Vehicles for the Disabled

Wav Compare

Wheelchair user Scott Smith set about making some areas of life easier and more accessible for other wheelchair users. He created WAV Compare that specialises in helping people to find  a suitable and reasonably priced wheelchair accessible vehicle by creating a website where disabled people and their carers can buy, sell and locate dedicated dealers that specialise in supplying wheelchair accessible vehicles of all kinds.

On the website highlighted above you can find like-minded disabled people selling their own wheelchair accessible vehicles, details of how to sell your vehicle and dedicated help and advice sections to learn about adaptions for a range of disabilities, conversions and other important information such as ramp or lift access etc.  You can also find information about how to gain an accessible vehicle via the Motability scheme, blog posts, accessible motorhomes and much more all under one roof.

Scott is also a keen and proven wheelchair tennis player that represents GBR as well as playing in local and national events and tournaments.

Because of Scotts thurst for sport and fitness he created a dedicated wheelchair exercise gym (see link left) and a number of products aimed at helping wellchair users get fit and in better overall health, gaining benefits of being more active through a number of exercise solutions, these include arm and leg movement exercises for all wheelchair users and others with special needs and restricted mobility.
