Sharks Community Trust Advantage Programme
Advantage is an Employability Programme for 16-18 years old who may not have had the best school experience, are unsure what to do after their GCSE’s and who may need a helping hand in finding their next step.
We are a young carer friendly training programme and we understand some of the barriers you may face. We take great pride in supporting all of our students to set and achieve aspirational career goals but we understand that balancing studies and caring responsibilities can sometimes be difficult.
We support and encourage young people to have a voice, access opportunities to learn, develop new skills and demonstrate to themselves and others that they are able to thrive and achieve their full potential.
You will be welcomed by friendly staff who understand what challenges you may face. We promote information about and for young carers on a dedicated information board and we look forward to welcoming you to the programme and supporting you on your amazing journey.
