Anxiety UK is a national registered charity formed in 1970 by someone living with agoraphobia. Today they are still a user-led organisation, run by people with experience of living with anxiety, supporting the recovery of those affected by anxiety disorders, stress and anxiety-based depression.
Anxiety UK provide information, support and understanding via an extensive range of services, including reduced-cost 1:1 talking therapies. AUK also work regularly with external agencies and healthcare professionals to improve services for those living with anxiety and anxiety-based depression, and campaign to raise awareness of the conditions.
As well as the package of support available by joining as a member of the charity, Anxiety Uk has a national Infoline services where anyone can call (03444 775 774) or email (firstname.lastname@example.org) for advice and information.
