Hello, I am an Ofsted Registered Childminder in the Longsight/Rusholme area. I am also a Graduate and hold a 2:1 Degree in Psychology and Counselling.
Your child’s health and safety and wellbeing is absolutley paramount to me. I am Paediatric First Aid trained. I also hold numerous Childminding certificates all of which will reflect the standard of my setting.
I live in a safe multicultural residential area which is close to many amenities and places for activities such as:
*Soft play centres
I live in a semi detached 3 bedroom house with a kitchen and 2 living rooms downstairs.
As a parent I am sure you will want only the best for your child in relation to their educational attainment and their surroundings. Well rest assured as you will be happy to know that all the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) requirements set out by the government’s education standards are weaved and blended into my setting to meet your child's individual needs ensuring they can flourish to their full potential which will help them to excel in all areas of thier lives. The 7 areas of learning are implemented in my setting through many indoor activities consisting of:
*Arts & Crafts
*Treasure basket exploring
*Shapes Numbers Sizes
*Alphabets and colours
*Learning languages and many more.
I have a fun child-friendly big garden and offer daily outdoor play which includes mud kitchens and sand/water play. I also grow my own vegetables and fruits which children can learn from and see the journey from seed to the end vegetable/fruit result.
As a Graduate I have studied numerous case studies which shows remarkable positive evidence that a learning environment not only consists of the physical setting, but it also encompasses how the child feels and responds to their setting. I confidently believe that your child will love my environment. I work in partnership with parents to enhance the learning and development of children and to achieve best outcomes. I also carry out observations and summaries of which stage of learning the child is at and regularly plan on how the child can grow and develop and what I can do next to support, with the involvment of parents/carers too, and to achieve the best possible outcome.
I have policies and procedures in place to enhance the wellbeing and safeguarding of children in my care.
Food can be catered for to match individual needs and preferences.
I invite you to an hour free session so you can (observe/watch/monitor) and get to feel your child’s reposnse/happiness to my setting.
