Parent Champions Training

The primary purpose of a Parent Champion is to make other parents aware of the Local Offer in the everyday conversations they have with them. Parent Champions attend a half day training session so that they have a good understanding of the information, support and resources on the Local Offer. For those that want it, there are lots of other opportunities and scope for personal development. Parent Champions are offered a dedicated IAS caseworker to support them.

With our Parent Champion Representative, we have complied a number of FAQ  which help to describe what's involved.

Training to become a Parent Champion is done through a rolling programme and runs on the last Monday of every month. Please see the attached flyer for further details.

Next parent Champion training is on the 30th Sept from 10am-2pm at Hulme District Office.
