Sara Bannon Registered Childminder

I am an experienced childminder commited to providing the very best of care and early education for young children and babies.  I believe childminding is a natural progression from a loving home environment, which allows children to express themselves and be valued as individuals in a small group situation.

Parents are the experts on their children and so it is important that we work together to provde consistent care to enable children to develop positive self esteem and confident attitudes to support future learning.

I provide supportive routines, healthy fresh food, lots of outdoor play, interesting outings (parks, museums, art gallery, library), and help to run an outdoor playgroup. At my home there are many playful /learning opportunities such as music, arts, dance, stories, gardening, cooking and also traditional toys games and puzzles.  I am inspired by the natural rhythms of the seasons and nature and the philosophies of Montessori and Steiner.

Learning through play is best developed in young children when they are happy and respected, feel confident and secure and this is the main focus of my practice.

I am based in south Manchester convenient for city centre and universities.
