Redbank House Multi-Sensory Rooms
Disabled Living have recently opened 2 brand new Sensurround Rooms at their newly refurbished building, Redbank House in Cheetham. These fabulous rooms are a place where children and adults with special needs can explore and develop their senses and skills. The multi-sensory rooms will have many different features ranging from soft areas, padded floors and walls together with interactive equipment which make dramatic changes to the sensory room environment using sound, light and fragrances. The facilities are fully accessible and include a full overhead tracking hoist.
Each session during the summer period is for one hour and costs £10 per child – there is no charge for parents.
We are offering limited places to adhere to current social distancing measures and increased cleaning regimes. The rooms will not be used by other clients for one hour before or after your session. We do have a risk assessment document we are happy to email to you, highlighting the measures Disabled Living have put in place. However, it is also essential you risk assess if this activity is suitable for your child.
We can accommodate a maximum of 8 people in the room, including carers. Please contact us for availability.
