Requesting a Statutory Assessment of SEND: Guidance for Educational Institutions
The Local Authority has produced guidance for educational establishments and academies about requesting a statutory assessment of special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) for Manchester children and young people. It gives details of the forms you need to complete and the supporting documentation which you must provide when requesting a statutory assessment (EHC Needs Assessment).
The guidance also applies to early years settings and colleges.
