Women's drop-in (Pankhurst Centre)
A community resource for Manchester women. The Pankhurst Centre in Manchester provides a women-only space that creates a unique environment in which participants can learn together, work on projects and socialise.
There is a women-only drop-in, run by women on Wednesdays 12pm to 2pm. We host different activities each week with a chance to meet new women, socialise and enjoy lunch together.
The centre is of historical significance as it was the home of suffragette, Emmeline Pankhurst and her daughters Sylvia, Christabel and Adela who campaigned tirelessly for women to get the vote.
