Revive: Supporting Refugees and people seeking asylum

Revive is an independent community project which provides free practical support, services and advocacy for refugees and people seeking asylum– regardless of race, religion, gender, sexuality, disability, age or beliefs Founded in Salford, in 2002, as a social justice project of the SPIRITANS (Congregation of the Holy Spirit), Revive enjoys the support of CARITAS, Diocese of Salford as it stands in solidarity with refugees and people seeking asylum. Our work is underpinned and inspired by the Christian values of compassion, service, equality and respect for human dignity. Revive aims are to promote access to rights, safety, stability and independence. Revive does this via the provision of a range of high quality services, with friendly drop-in sessions, offering advice, guidance and support on immigration, housing, health care and integration programmes/courses. It also offers emergency provisions, specialised casework, advocacy and volunteering opportunities to the refugee and asylum community.
