East Didsbury Pre-School

We are a small private fully inclusive pre school. All our staff are fully qualified for their roles and regularly attend training updates to provide the highest standard of care for our children. 

We take children from 2-5 years and have funding available for 2, 3 and 4 year olds. We are a fully inclusive setting and have wheelchair access and a disabled toilet facililty. We are Ofted regulated and take pride in our settings facilities and resources. Children work towards early learning goals in line with the national curriculum and Early years Foundation Stage.

We are open during the COVID 19 pandemic. We are adhering to all goverment advice during the pandemic and updating parents/carers as we recieve new information. We have a full covid 19 risk assessment in place, that is available to all.

Yes - We offer a fully multicultural service which is catered for in all areas of the curriculum.

Yes - we have children with dairy, gluten, sesame and nut allergies, and a child with an epipen,. We are all competent users.
Special Needs Access
Yes - We provide one to one help for any child who needs it and welcome any child whatever the special or additional need may be. We have outreach support from Rodney house if and when it is required. We have vast experience in applying for Education Health and Care plans, and have transitioned a large number of children with specific needs into mainstream school successfully. We have worked with blind children alongside the visual support team. Deaf children, Children with cancer who have Hickman lines in situ. Children with pacemakers. and lots of children with Autism and Asperger. Whatever your child's additional need , we will access the support we need to care for your child.

Notes

We support children with additional medical needs. We are all trained to support visually impaired children. One member of staff is a paediatric nurse and we work alongside Manchester and Stockport hospitals to cater for any specific needs.
