Music Production Course - Unity Radio's New Talent Academy
For anyone that’s new to music production and wants to know what it’s all about, the accredited music production course from Unity Radio's New Talent Academy is a great introduction to the industry that will give you a grounding in professional music production.
With a hands-on focus, you’ll explore all the basics of studio recording, including how to produce your own music, use audio editing software and record your own sounds for use in music production. You will create your own beats using industry standard software and learn about the characteristics of sound. You'll also gain the NCFE Level 1 Award in Music Technology.
The course is free and takes place Tuesdays and Thursdays from 10am-4pm at Unity Radio in Media City, with lunch provided.
To be eligible for the course, you must be between the ages of 16 and 24 and live in Greater Manchester.
