Prostate Cancer UK

Our confidential Helpline is the UK’s only nurse-led dedicated prostate cancer phone line, staffed by specialist nurses. Independent of the NHS, we give reliable, up-to-date, and above all specialist support and information. We offer callers the opportunity to express their feelings, whether it is anger at diagnosis or relief that someone is there to listen. The Helpline is staffed five days per week with extended hours on Wednesdays. Confidentiality is maintained between callers and The Prostate Cancer Charity. (Calls are free but mobile rates vary.) One to One Support It can help to talk to someone who understands what you are going through. We will match you to a Support Volunteer based on your circumstances and your concerns. Our Support Volunteers are all personally affected by prostate cancer: men with a diagnosis, wives, partners, family members or friends. They have been trained to listen and offer support. Online Support Send our nurses an email with your question and they will endeavour to respond within five working days. Please use our special contact form to help us to help you. We can only respond to enquiries in relation to treatment being received in the UK. We cannot respond to enquiries from outside the UK at this time. Our publications We provide free information tailored to the needs of men with prostate cancer and their families. Our publications are evidence-based, independently reviewed and award winning.
