Jobcentre Plus arrangements over the Easter period

On Friday 2 April and Monday 5 April Jobcentre Plus offices and phone lines will be closed.

To make sure people receive their payments on a day when Jobcentre Plus offices are open, arrangements have been made to make some payments early:

Expected payment date - Friday 2 April

Benefits will be paid early on - Thursday 1 April

Expected payment date - Monday 5 April

Benefits will be paid early on - Thursday 1 April

If the expected payment date is not shown, customers will get their money on their usual payment date

New Benefits Checker

The Benefits Checker  tool is a newly designed tool to give anyone who uses it a quick idea of what financial support they may be able to claim. It will ask a few questions then suggest what help they are most likely to be eligible for.

For a more complete understanding of all the support that may be available and how much this can be, people can use a Benefits Calculator . The Benefit Calculators will take longer to complete but will give people a more detailed picture of what they could receive.
