Young Carers Support - Ashbury Meadow Primary School
This is for children who attend our school. We are young carer friendly; we will do whole school assemblies to raise awareness of young carers and we will send letters home to parents. We will work towards the young carer in shcool award, we will offer early help assesments and work closesly with our early help hubs and feeder schools to support young carers through transition. We will invite professionals into school to support our young carers and we will have a weekly drop in for young carers to spend time with each other and we will indentify young carers ambassadors.
We also offer access to; A sensory garden, nurture sessions, drop in sessions, football club, art club, chess club and others.
