Wood Street Mission
We offer help to local families in need with free parcels of clothing, bedding and baby equipment. We provide easter eggs at Easter, school uniforms in time for the start of the new school year, toys and a food hamper for Christmas.
We also hold Children’s Book Clubs in each school holiday. All goods are given free to families. We are NOT open to the public. Help is through a referral process via a Family Support Worker and is strictly by appointment only.
Area covered are Manchester and Salford and all wards within those two cities. We do not cover other areas across Greater Manchester.
