Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue Service is one of the largest Fire and Rescue Services outside London with over 2,100 members of staff and 41 fire stations. We cover an area of approximately 500 square miles and a culturally diverse population of 2.5 million people.
All residents of Greater Manchester can request a free Safe and Well visit in their homes to recieve help and advice to help keep you and your family safe from fire in the home
PLEASE NOTE THAT DURING THE CORONOVIRUS EPIDEMIC, GREATER MANCHESTER FIRE AND RESCUE SERVICE WILL BE CONDUCTING SAFE AND WELL VISITS BY TELEPHONE ONLY AND ONLY BE TAKING BOOKINGS FOR SAFE AND WELL VISITS FOR ARSON THREAT REFERRALS AND FOR THOSE PEOPLE WHO ARE HIGH RISK AND VULNERABLE. PLEASE NOTE THAT OUR WEBSITE CONTAINS FIRE AND OTHER SAFETY INFORMATION THAT WILL HELP YOU STAY SAFE AT HOME.
