Happy Days Day Nursery

Happy Days Logo

The Nursery is privately owned and managed. The registered owner manages 2 other nurseries with an outstanding rating from Ofsted in November 2016 and good rating in December 2019. The setting serves the local and surrounding areas and is located opposite Wythenshawe Park, next to the motorway, airport and hospital.

The nursery received a good Ofsted rating in January 2020 and works in partnership with Manchester City Council as part of the Quality Assurance Framework

The nursery has bright and spacious play room which have been redecorated and modernised. The nursery has a separate baby room with NVQ Level 3 practitioners who have undertaken the Unique Care of Babies course. There is a fully enclosed outdoor area (at the back of the property) offering both grass and rubberised tarmac surfaces, an outdoor all weather area, mud-pie kitchen and minibeast work station.  The setting offers a range of play, teaching and learning opportunities for all children attending the setting, and is registered to take a total of 35 children each day.

The Nursery Manager leads a team of 7 staff who are all qualified in Child care and who all hold Paediatric First Aid certificates. We have a designated SEND Manager to support our children with special needs. The senior practitioners have worked at Happy Days for over 10 years.

The setting receives funding for the provision of the Free Early Education for children aged 2, 3 & 4 years,, for 15 and 30 hours depending on eligibility.
