At Diverse Active Living we want you to feel energised, happy and fulfilled after spending time with us. We are firm believer's in creating a cheerful and energetic atmosphere which has proven to assist with better sleep, calm behaviour and minimise negative thoughts.
The importance of reliable and trustworthy day support is something we value within our day services.
It is important for us to offer affordable day care for local communities that are supported by local authority funding and those that would benefit privately from the service.
For the smaller communities that are underfunded, people are at a higher risk of social isolation and loneliness, something which Diverse wish to change!
Day services, like ours, are vital in local communities to help combat these issues. Studies show how even a small amount of time of human interaction and social activities can reduce stress, anxiety and help battle low moods.
Diverse Active Living Day Service provides vital support, not only on an individual basis, but as a support network for families too. Caring for a loved one with a disability or mental illness can be a challenging experience. Our day service can assist with support in these areas as we work closely with families to build the ideal person centred support plan to ensure you feel content, valued and respected whilst in our care.

Extra Relief Service
We have a new service provided for those that require extra support outside of the centre’s hours. Our relief service us set up to support working families gain extra support for their loved ones whilst being able to maintain a work and life balance. This service is only available to those that already attend the day service.
This service can be available from 8am - 10am and 3pm - 7pm
This service is built to be flexible. Please contact the centre manager who can support your needs further.

We have a safe outdoor area which is gated and locked. Our Day service is located within a business park which also has reliable security and monitoring 24hrs.

We provide a healthy and balanced lunch at an extra cost. Service users are able to provide their own lunch if they prefer. On Fridays we have a chippy lunch which is proving to be very popular and Saturdays we enjoy a cooked breakfast including bacon, sausages, eggs and beans! Vegetarian options are also available.
Our staff are fully trained to prompt and administer medication. Medication to be discussed upon start of service with the manager and family/ carer involved.
We have a 16 seat wheel chair adapted mini bus which is free for service users attending the centre. We pick up and drop off straight to your door. Availability depending.
We have disabled toilets and facilities on site.
