Our vibrant community village in South Manchester boasts state-of-the-art facilities and high quality nursing and dementia care.
Since opening, it has attracted attention as an award-winning facility and is rated 'Good' by the Care Quality Commission who found it to be notably caring, well led, responsive and effective, as well as being safe and consistently compliant with best practice guidelines.
The village holds the NHS Six Steps accreditation for high quality end-of-life care and its nurse manager won the Great British Care Award for Palliative Care 2019. Its Experience Co-ordinator, who runs an extensive programme of events and activities, also won recognition as a regional finalist in the Care Home Activity Organiser category.
Located in the heart of West Didsbury, the village centre is open to the public and provides a vibrant hub for community events, with facilities including an exercise studio, hair salon, bistro serving fresh kosher food, therapy room, function rooms, library, synagogue and gardens, including a roof garden.
The complex includes independent living apartments and specialist households providing 24-hour nursing and dementia care.
Support is also available on a day basis through our ‘Day club’ which specialises in supporting people with dementia to give carers a break and includes use of village centre amenities such as the bistro and exercise studio.
For people looking for support in their own homes, we offer an award-winning home care service, Belong at Home.
