Wildlife Trust for Lancashire, Manchester and N.Merseyside - Myplace

Myplace is an exciting and innovative Ecotherapy project that seeks to empower individuals to take action for wildlife and their communities. Myplace Free sessions or ‘hubs’ are run weekly and are for anyone aged 16+ (11+ with a referral from a professional organisation).
We support communities in Lancashire, Manchester and North Merseyside. Myplace is an accessible service. We understand every indivividual may have different barriers preventing them to access oppurtunities, including Myplace. We take the time to help individual's over come those barriers to reconnect them with Nature and their local communities. We are young/adult carers aware
Originally Myplace happened outdoors helping people connect with nature, through various activities within 5 themes:
- Wildlife Walks
• Practical Conservation
• Bushcraft
• Mindful Environments
• Growing Projects
Due to the current Covid restrictions we have moved our sessions online.
Virtual Myplace sessions now take place weekly. We offer small groups of people the chance to learn about nature and wellbeing alongside out trained team. It’s a chance to be yourself, connect to other people and broaden your skills as well as help care for wildlife on your doorstep.
